Testing and maintenance of lightning protection systems
It is critical to ensure your lightning protection system works exactly how it should so that you avoid potentially serious and expensive damage to your building. An annual inspection and test of all your equipment will give you not only peace of mind but also ensure you are covering your legal requirements for health and safety and building insurance, should lightning strike.
We test systems which have been installed to the current British standard BS EN 62305 and to BS EN 6651:1999 or older (CP 326 Sept 1965).

Wallbridge are highly experienced, specialist lightning protection system engineers covering South and central England. We provide a range of lightning protection services, including testing, repairing and modifying existing systems.
We work directly with our clients and provide excellent customer service. We’ve been running our company since 1978 and many of our clients have stayed with us long-term.
Each system is installed to British safety standards with a high level of workmanship. Our experienced engineering team are all fully qualified and deliver outstanding quality of work. Upon completion of the work, we provide all the relevant certification.
We work with architects, electrical contractors and private clients to fit lightning protection systems comprising air terminations, down conductors and earths on buildings and infrastructures from MOD establishments to prisons, stately homes and churches. We are committed to customer service excellence and ensure our clients are always happy with our work.
Expert maintenance provision
As part of our service, we conduct annual visits to test and visually inspect your lightning protection system. Any defects are reported to you with details of the remedial work needed. Should you require this work to go ahead, we will arrange a date to carry out the repairs. Upon completion of the work, we provide you with the relevant certification.
Fully Qualified
We are full members of ATLAS (The Association of Technical and Lightning and Access Specialists) and SLPTG (Steeplejack and Lightning Protection Training Group), so you can be assured of our standard of work.
Excellent standards of health and safety are essential to us. We are accredited by several significant health and safety assessors, including CHAS, Constructionline and SafeContractor, for client peace of mind.
